Buffet Breakfast at the Cafe in the Park

We booked a room in Century Park Hotel with a free breakfast buffet because I wanted to try Cafe at the Park's buffet breakfast. We arrived at the place at around 9AM on a Monday morning. There were not many people around, but it was okay.

Here are some pictures I took from the buffet in no particular order:

More fresh bread
All the bread I have tasted during that breakfast such as the muffins, danishes and pandesal were all freshly baked. I can really taste and smell the oven-baked goodness of the baked buns. They're really perfect for breakfast. You can find more great recipes and product reviews from our friends at the Village Bakery

There was one minor misunderstanding that we had during our meal. I thought that children ages 10 and below are free to dine for breakfast. But as soon as we arrived and we were lead to our table, the manager told us that our son who is 10 will be charged half the buffet price. I told her that I wasn't informed about that, but she insisted that there was a charge. And so I didn't argue anymore and accepted it. My son didn't want any of the food in the buffet spread so I just told the waiter not to charge him because he didn't eat anyway.

Food: Good
What stood out from their menu is the bacon and the sweet and sour chicken.

Variety: Good
They offered a modest selection of breakfast buffets. I didn't see any crepes or pancakes, though.

Staff: Good, very attentive, and courteous.

Ambiance: Busy.
They were always fully booked especially on the weekends. They have a limited number of tables only so they can accommodate a few people, probably less than 50.
