Sambo Kojin Buffet Collab with Dads, Saisaki, and Kamayan

It was my brother and sister's birthday celebration and they wanted to eat at a buffet. Sambo Kojin has been a popular buffet place even before the pandemic and since most of us haven't tried Sambo Kojin before, we thought it was the best time to try it. As I checked their Facebook page, they were also offering a buffet collaboration with Dads, Saisaki, and Kamayan meaning when you add P130 per person to your buffet price, you get access to more food variants from the mentioned restaurants. So we paid Php 988 per person which we thought was a good price for a buffet. 

Panda Panda: An All You Can Eat Buffet in SM BF

So we were strolling along SM BF Paranaque and we frequently walk by Panda Panda, a Chinese restaurant that offers ala carte food or a P299 buffet  At first, we ignore it because the place looked gloomy unlike the other popular buffet places. But one Saturday, we decided to try it out because the price of P299 per person isn't really that bad for a buffet. So we went in and gave it a go.

I have been planning my little girl's 7th birthday party and just thinking about it, in all honesty, stresses me out. I remember planning her 1st birthday and it was indeed fun and stressful at the same time because I had to plan from scratch from getting the host, the food, the place, etc. I was planning on celebrating her 7th birthday on the same restaurant (Big Plate) so I didn't have to think much anymore, but I just learned that they closed down. So I have to go around nearby places from BF Homes, Paranaque to find the right restaurant for my daughter's special day.

Thanks to Metrodeal, we were able to purchase our lunch buffet at the Cafe in Hyatt City of Dreams Manila for a discounted price of Php 1,105 per person.

We booked a room in Century Park Hotel with a free breakfast buffet because I wanted to try Cafe at the Park's buffet breakfast. We arrived at the place at around 9AM on a Monday morning. There were not many people around, but it was okay.

Vikings' Dude30 Promo Buffet 2016

Last June 30 was the inauguration of our president Rodrigo Duterte and Vikings Buffet had also announced they will be having a promo in line with his inauguration. I was one of the lucky ones who were able to reserve two slots for a lunch buffet in Vikings' Dude30 promo which simply is a buy 1 take promo as long as you are between the age of 30-39. I was a bit skeptical, too, because based on my experience, when a restaurant offers this kind of promos, they change their menu or decrease the selection of their buffet spread. But when we got there, I was so wrong. Their buffet spread was even better than the last time we visited Vikings BF Paranaque.

At 9AM, we went down to the ground floor and had our complimentary buffet breakfast for two at the Spectrum. Kids 5 years old and below eat for free.

Our Sunday Buffet Dinner at The Pantry

Last year, we had the opportunity to eat a wonderful buffet breakfast at Dusit's all-day dining restaurant, Basix. But now, Basix no longer exists as they replaced it with a new restaurant called "The Pantry." Luckily, I still have my free buffet dinner voucher good for 2 from my Dusit Wine & Dine membership so we had the chance to discover what The Pantry offers for simple diners like us. Without the voucher, a dinner for two would cost us around Php2,800. Kids 5 years and below eat for free.

We just had lunch in one of the most popular buffet places in town, Buffet 101, located at the 3rd floor, Glorietta 2. I actually used my Metrodeal voucher worth P764 for a Sunday lunch buffet (original price of P899) with unlimited drinks so I saved P135.  

Lovely Staycation: Dusit Hotel Makati Review

Last May 22, 2015, my husband and I decided to take our family on a 3D/2N family staycation in Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We chose this hotel because after doing some online research it has all the amenities that we need. A big plus is their location being just a stone's throw away from SM Makati and Ayala Malls.

Vikings Luxury Buffet at SM BF Paranaque

Yesterday, my husband treated me to Vikings BF Paranaque because it was my birthday! Well, he only had to pay for himself because I ate for free because it's my birth date, but I don't mind at all.

We were greeted by this gentleman on the right asking if we have reservations. You bet we do! I also indicated on the phone when I called that it was my birthday. So when everything was arranged, he summoned another guy whom I forgot the name and he was told to get my ID card for verification.  Well, the guy did assisted us towards our table, but he seemed to forget to collect my ID.
