So we were strolling along SM BF Paranaque and we frequently walk by Panda Panda, a Chinese restaurant that offers ala carte food or a P299 buffet At first, we ignore it because the place looked gloomy unlike the other popular buffet places. But one Saturday, we decided to try it out because the price of P299 per person isn't really that bad for a buffet. So we went in and gave it a go.

Christening Event in Gloria Maris Eastwood Branch
Last Saturday, we got invited to a Christening event by one of my husband's friends. My dear hubby was made the godfather or "ninong" of the child. Traveling from Paranaque to Christ the King Church in Ortigas was worth it because it's really delightful to see little ones being baptized and becoming members of the Catholic Church.
After the Christening, we went to Gloria Maris in the Eastwood Mall branch where the reception was held. I have been to Gloria Maris in Alabang before, but I was a bit surprised how simple but elegant the Eastwood branch is.

Chairman Wang's Prime Beef Noodle House Review
Chairman Wang's Prime Beef Noodle House: Alabang's Newest Authentic Chinese Noodle House
Last April 1, 2014, I got invited in an intimate bloggers' gathering in Chairman Wang's Prime Beef Noodle House restaurant located in Molito ( a small mall situated beside Alabang Town Center), Alabang. It was actually my first time to attend a bloggers' event in a restaurant so it was pretty exciting for me.
A Sumptuous Dinner at Gloria Maris
On my birthday last Sunday, May 20, my sister treated the whole family to Gloria Maris. Thanks to the infamous group buying site, Cash Cash Pinoy, we were able to enjoy Gloria Mari's set meal for 10 at half the cost. My sister chose Set D for Php2,825.
Dinner at Luk Yuen Noodle House
We've been dining in Luk Yuen for so many times and we never get tired of their food. We went to Makati last month and decided to try out Glorietta 5's Luk Yuen branch.

Classic Savory in Festival Mall
I think I have already posted 2 blogs about Classic Savory restaurant, but this post is about Savory's branch in Festival Mall, Alabang. We always dine here whenever we go to Festival Mall because their fried chicken is my hubby's favorite and they always serve freshly cooked food.
A compilation of old Filipino movie posters.
The venue is not that big, but not too small either. Capacity is around 50 to 75 people.
Their refreshing coolers.
We always order this combo meal. This combo includes 2 cups of rice, their award-winning pancit canton, half Savory fried chicken, sweet & sour pork , 2 pcs of turon (dessert), and 2 coolers.
(Php385 - good for 2 people)
No fried chicken is complete without the gravy!
Their restaurant is located at the ground floor of Festival Mall near Greenwich and Chowking. You will see waiters and waitresses waiting outside to accommodate people. Friendly staff, good food and good service!
Excelente Ham on My Birthday (Why not?)
Excelente hams is a bit expensive and you have to go all the way to Palanca St. in Quiapo to get some, but IT'S ALL WORTH IT!!! This ham has been a family favorite for generations and people really wait in line just to buy their hams especially during the holidays.
But why wait for the holidays to taste their hams? Excelente ham is open all year round so I decided to buy some for my birthday :D
Excelente Scrap Ham (P700 per kilo)
I decided to buy their scrap ham as recommended by sister's friend. It seems like I'm the only one in the family who finds it so-so because my entire family just loves it. It has a smoky-rich taste and the texture is not too dry. Maybe I'm just not the scrap-ham-lover type of person.
Excelente Chinese Ham with Mixed Sauce (900 per kilo)
Now, this is my favorite ham! Yes, I admit I have a sweet tooth and I just love sweets, and that includes sweet ham! Well, actually, this ham is not that sweet. It just has the right hint of sweetness from the sauce and the authentic smoky flavor of the ham is still there. I just love this.
