 I would often experience a minor headache eventually turning into migraine right after working in front of my desktop and/or laptop especially when I work during night time. My husband says the reason of my migraine is because of switching from reading at my laptop to reading on my mobile phone and going back to the desktop.  I'm starting to believe it's true because I tire easily when I do it. 

My eyes hurt after 2 hours of working in front of my computer. It could also be caused by stress and fatigue. 

According to an article from webmd.com, blue light from electronics is linked to problems like blurry vision, eyestrain, dry eye, macular degeneration, and cataracts. Blue light may also damage your retinas (phototoxicity). The amount of damage depends on wavelength and exposure time.

Since it's Christmas and I already have extra budget with me, I decided to have my daughter's eyes checked. My 6-year-old is currently wearing eyeglasses which she wears to school and at home. Since it's been 2 years since she had her first set of glasses, I decided to have her eyes checked in an optical shop because she would always blink her eyes due to gadget use (sigh, yes I'm guilty of allowing her to use gadgets, but now I'm no longer allowing it). I thought her glasses needed an upgrade.

I've had my share of visiting optical shops to find good quality but affordable eyeglasses, and I have to say it's not easy to find a pair that you like that also fits your budget. Sometimes, I would find the glasses I want, but when I checked the price, it's way over my budget so I would have to start my search all over again and continue looking for an optical shop in the malls.
